The NAMLE Marketplace began in 2005 as an expansion of Liz Thoman‘s Center of Media Literacy’s former Resource Catalog (called by many the “illustrated biography” of media literacy education). For 5 years Liz was the steward of the NAMLE Marketplace. In 2010, the NAMLE Board of Directors voted in support of partnering with Amazon.com to provide our members with an extensive selection of reasonably-priced multimedia resources, quick and easy shipping, and global customer feedback. Items are recommended by NAMLE members and selected by board members for inclusion in our Marketplace based on how well the item aligns with the Core Principles of Media Literacy Education. ALL NET PROCEEDS DIRECTLY BENEFIT NAMLE AND ITS MEMBERS.
