Jasmin is a doctoral student in the Communication, Culture & Media Studies at Howard University. Her research interests include race, digital streaming and media psychology.
Sharpening her skills over the years through an extensive career in media production and consulting, Jasmin has gained invaluable experience in entrepreneurship, academia, and creative development. Having successfully launched The J.Michelle Firm, ProjectBlaq.com and ATLWEBFEST, Jasmin has partnered with major brands such as Microsoft, Internet Week NY, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Department of Economic Development and The Create Daily. She has also been featured on WXIA-11Alive News and Ebony.com
Jasmin currently serves as the social media and marketing director for Howard University’s Communication Entrepreneurship Research & Resource Center and lectures in the Principles of Speech Program.
