Thank you for joining NAMLE or renewing your membership.  Please take advantage of the following benefits—they’re NAMLE’s way of supporting your organization and its mission.

PROMOTE Your Activities and Projects

  • Share news, publication announcements, upcoming events, calls-for-papers and other timely information with the leading media literacy educators in the nation. Just e-mail our Update editor Vanessa Domine with your story ideas and we’ll work with you to include them in a forthcoming issue.
  • Organizational members get an automatic mention in the NAMLE conference program, including a link to their Web sites.
  • Interested in having your work profiled in NAMLE’s new MPassioned feature? Only NAMLE members receive this kind of spotlight on our home page, and organizational members can be fast-tracked for this process—just write to your Membership Coordinator to learn more.
  • Update your organization’s posting on the NAME Web site. We can do this every time you renew your membership… and if you’ve just joined NAMLE, we’d like to showcase your organization immediately. Please get started with easy-to-follow directions for posting your organization on our site.
  • Please note that you have permission to use the NAMLE name in publicizing and promoting media literacy programs or activities, e.g. “We are an organizational member of the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).” (Just please drop us a note when you do, though—we’d love to learn more about what you’re up to!)

Further Your MISSON… and the Field of MEDIA Literacy Education

  • Use NAMLE’s resources to support the work of your staff or constituents. Feel free to link to the open-source Journal of Media Literacy Education. You can also upload the Core Principles of Media Literacy Education to your Web site—or just link to them.
  • Let NAMLE celebrate you and your achievements at our national conference. Attend a special appreciation event in honor of you and our other organizational members. There you’ll meet leaders in the field of media literacy education, including NAMLE Board members past and present.
