As an organizational member you will receive monthly email reminders from the NAMLE Organizational Member Coordinator to guarantee that your news is represented in the NAMLE Update.

INVITE people to get to know you through the NAMLE website. As a NAMLE organizational member your profile will include a general description, logo, website address, and other pertinent contact information.
SHOWCASE a more in-depth profile of your work through the NAMLE M-Passioned series. This monthly series highlights the work of NAMLE members through a one-on-one interview that demonstrates the breath of their contribution to the field of media literacy education. Previous M-Passioned members include Mary Ann Allison with Hofstra University, Alan Michel of Here-In Our Motives Evolve (HOME), Kara Clayton with Thurston High School, and Abby Popper at the Jacob Burns Film Center.
Further Your MISSION… and the Field of MEDIA Literacy Education
AFFILIATE your organizaton with the national media literacy education movement by identifying yourself as a NAMLE member when publicizing and promoting media literacy programs or activities. For example, “We are an organizational member of the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).”
UTILIZE NAMLE resources to support the work of your staff or constituents. Link to the open-source Journal of Media Literacy Education or the Core Principles of Media Literacy Education (CPMLE), which you can also upload directly to your website.
ENHANCE professional development by encouraging each of your organizational member(s) – 2 for Local/Regional memberships and 4 for National memberships – to take advantage of the benefits of their individual memberships. This includes:
- discount registration at the NAMLE conference
- getting involved in NAMLE’s caucuses
- contributing to The Journal of Media Literacy Education
