Vanessa Domine is currently an Associate Professor at Montclair State University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in technology and pedagogy within Montclair’s nationally acclaimed teacher education program. Dr. Domine has written numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and web content on the subjects of critical pedagogy, media literacy education, technology planning and teacher education. Her most recent book is, Rethinking Technology in Schools (Peter Lang, 2009). Much of her work is accessible through her professional website: Project Literacy Among Youth (PLAY) at kidsplay.org. Dr. Domine was elected to the NAMLE Board of Directors in 2009 and currently serves as the NAMLE 2011 Conference Program Chair, coordinator of the Marketplace, and was recently elected to the position of First Vice President. In her spare time she is "Dr. Mom" to her 4 media-literate children.
