Sherri Hope Culver is an Assistant Professor at Temple University, Department of Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media and serves as Director of the Media Education Lab. She has over 20 years of executive management experience in the media business and regularly consults with media companies on issues concerning strategic leadership, children & media, public broadcasting and media management. Sherri has produced over 600 hours of television programming and lead the team that created the interactive online game My Pop Studio. (www.MyPopStudio.com) She has appeared on (and hosted) numerous television talk shows.
Sherri holds a masters degree in Public Culture from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research explored the impact of children's television on the social development of girls. She is author of the book, The Television and Video Survival Guide and co-author of The Media Career Guide.
