Mark Hannah is currently the director of academic communications at Parsons The New School for Design. Coming out of the public relations world, he has conducted sensitive public affairs campaigns for well-known multinational corporations, major industry organizations and influential non-profits. He specializes in issues and reputation management online and has been a contributor to PBS’s MediaShift blog (about the “digital media revolution”). Mark worked for the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign as a member of the national advance staff. He's more recently conducted advance work for the Obama-Biden campaign, Presidential Inaugural Committee and White House. Aside from his board membership at NAMLE, he is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a research fellow at the Society for New Communications Research, and he’s served as an awards judge for both organizations. He holds a BA from University of Pennsylvania and an MS from Columbia University.
