Call for Proposals
We are pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the NAMLE 2013 Conference in Los Angeles. This coming July 12 and 13 promise to be two days of interactive, attendee-driven discussion around the state and future of media literacy education in the US and abroad. The best way to make your voice heard is to propose a session. We’ll hold panels, workshops, smackdowns, chats and more — all with the aim of giving you a say in the development of MLE as a source of engagement and empowerment in the lives of youth and adults.
Proposals are due January 7, 2013. Begin planning now. Many of the sessions give preference to teams of presenters. And all of the session formats lean toward audience involvement, whether your presentation is high-tech, low-tech or no-tech. Learn more at our Call for Proposals.
The NAMLE 2013 Conference will take place in Torrance, CA (on the west side of LA) July 12-13, 2013. We welcome you to book your room now to ensure your spot at the Conference hotel.
