Wayne Blair, Canadian Media Educator

Wayne Blair, President of the Alberta Association for Media Awareness, died on the 25th of July 2012 due to complication from an extended illness.

Wayne was a successful results-oriented independent professional educator with extensive experience in K – Grade 12 and post-secondary education. He has training and experience in strategic planning, curriculum development, management and a wide variety of media and information technologies such as: print, radio, film, television, computer software, telecommunications, libraries, distance education, media education and information systems.

He is survived by his wife, Iris, his children and grandchildren.

There will be an open house to celebration Wayne’s extraordinary life on 29th of July in Alberta.
