Author of Detecting Bull Receives Prestigious Award

John McmanusNAMLE member John McManus was awarded the 2009 Sigma Delta Chi award from the Society of Professional Journalists for his multimedia book Detecting Bull: How to Detect Bias and Junk Journalism in Print, Broadcast and on the Wild Web. This is the first time a book about news literacy has won the award.  Learn more on the Society of Professional Journalists website.
